Rosato Mezzogiorno is a very pleasant rosé wine produced in Puglia, a Region in Southern Italy. The grapes for this Rosato are harvested Mid September. The must is left to macerate on the skin s for about 12 hours at a controlled temperature to extract colour. After a soft pressing the must is fermented in stain less steel vats at a temperature of between 18 – 20 degrees.
Rosato Puglia Mezzogiorno has light rosé colour. It is a classic example from the south of Italy. Made from a combination of local red grape varieties, the wine shows an array of red fruit and berries, apples and melon with an intriguing underlying green herbal note. Fresh, vibrant fruit flavours provide texture and weight supported by bright, balancing acidity.
Libiamo Wines believes that the best way of drinking fine wines is with friends, sharing a joyous and sociable experience. “Libiamo” is an expression meaning “We shall drink!”, used in the famous opera Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi. All wines are rare and hard-to-find, as the producing wineries are small “wine boutiques” trying to preserve indigenous grapes and the true quality of wine over the years.
